For an empty-nester couple, Eleven on the River offered the perfect new chapter: a luxury condominium in Minneapolis’ Mill District with full-service amenities, concierge living, and sweeping city views. Designed by world-renowned Robert A. M. Stern Architects in 2022, the building is the tallest residential tower along the Mississippi River, surrounded by cultural landmarks including the Guthrie Theater, U.S. Bank Stadium, and McGuire Park.

The couple envisioned a home that celebrates entertaining and connection. At the heart of the design is a striking bar and wine gallery, setting the tone from the moment guests arrive. The entry hall leads directly through this dramatic feature wall, where smoky cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a crystal-and-brass chandelier reflect across a mirrored antique backsplash. The custom wine gallery, framed with French-style glass doors and modern steel handles, showcases an impressive collection with LED lighting and temperature control, a nod to grand European wine rooms.

The interiors are tailored for both glamour and comfort. A palette of pale aqua with vibrant azalea accents creates a chic backdrop. A. Rudin upholstery frames the conversation area, while swivel chairs with walnut surrounds pivot effortlessly between the fireplace and panoramic views. Automated solar shades manage sunlight throughout the day, enhancing the atmosphere of luxury high-rise living.

From its sophisticated entertaining spaces to its expansive views of the city and riverfront, Eleven on the River reflects modern elegance and a lifestyle of ease, community, and celebration.
