Kenwood Manor House
Where Georgian Architecture Meets Modern Color
Set in Minneapolis’s historic Lowry Hill neighborhood, this 1917 Georgian brick residence reflects the timeless craftsmanship of its era. Looking to the stately center-entry architecture for inspiration, we infused the interiors with curated color, playful pattern, and a spirit of curiosity.
The Living Room, anchored by custom built-in bookshelves, was designed for intimate conversation and quiet pursuits. A game table reflects the homeowner’s love of puzzles, offering a welcoming space for thoughtful leisure. Just beyond, the Garden Room unfolds with a window bench overlooking the lush garden. Outfitted with craft and game stations, it has quickly become the family’s favorite gathering spot. In the Dining Room, a vintage red rug makes a bold statement, elevating the room’s historic proportions with a modern sense of drama.
Casual elegance extends throughout: the Summer Porch offers a breezy retreat, while paneled millwork, soaring windows, and a classic fireplace frame the architecture with gravitas. The result is a manor house reimagined, timeless and stately, yet enlivened with personality, joy, and modern spirit.
